Welcome to our place in cyberspace for music and conversation. We’ve written about a lot of issues that are forefront in our minds – children in war, animal cruelty, human suffering, political and corporate corruption. Yes we also write about love and family and hope for peace and a better world, and maybe even some silly things now and then. But unfortunately, we’re of the mind that there’s far more bad stuff going on in the world today than good, as well as non-stop assembly line of information “candy-coating” by mainstream media, corporations and government. Unfinished Thoughts reflects how we view the world. In some instances, it’s pretty cool and hopeful. In other instances, it is not.

About The Caretakers …

The Caretakers emerged from one of the original hubs of Canadian music scene – Hamilton, Ontario in 2007 – although the trio could just as easily have stepped off the stage of Cafe Wha? in Greenwich Village circa 1964. With folk music at their roots and the cultural grit of a working-class-city upbringing, Jeffrey C. Martin, Lena Montecalvo and Norm Van Bergen fuse rich Peter, Paul and Mary-style harmonies with REM-inspired melodies and swampy ’70s southern rock grooves.
